Terms of Service

The short version

Use PocketHSA to manage your HSA receipts. Don’t misuse it. Your data is yours. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited. Questions: hello@pockethsa.com.

The service

PocketHSA provides tools for capturing, organizing, and storing documentation for HSA-eligible medical expenses. We are not a financial advisor, tax professional, or insurance provider. Nothing in this service constitutes tax or legal advice — consult a qualified professional for your specific situation.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older to use PocketHSA.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• One account per person. Don’t share accounts.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, fraudulent, or that you don’t have the right to upload.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service.
• Use the service to store content unrelated to medical expense documentation.
• Circumvent any usage limits or access controls.

Free tier and paid plans

The Free plan allows up to 15 stored receipts. The Pro plan (monthly or annual subscription) removes this limit and adds PDF export. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but if you have an issue please reach out and we’ll work something out.

Your data

You own your data. We don’t claim any rights to your receipts or the information in them. You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. If we terminate your account without cause, we will provide a prorated refund for any prepaid subscription period.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

PocketHSA is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of AI extraction, or suitability for any particular purpose. We are not responsible for any tax, legal, or financial consequences arising from your use of this service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
